Oudiette Rosé d'Infusion 2020

The Oudiette Rosé d'Infusion 2020 is a fascinating production using a unique method of infusion using handpicked Meunier berries which are gentle massaged in a tank of Chardonnay for 24 hours. The colour is a beautiful light salmon pink. There is a lovely touch of tannin. Fruity, playful and surprisingly gripping for such a small amount of Meunier. Screams out for some charcuterie. The nose is so warm with notes of amphora. The palate is wonderfully delicate with touches of clay and sand and delicate jam notes and wild strawberries. There's just the right amount of delivery and then the tension and lift ramps up before a soft creamy finish.
