50/50 Chardonnay/Pinot Noir, 3g/ltr. Vinified in oak. I fell in love with this wine many years ago and have seen vintages just show better and better. The wine carries a brilliant tension, lusciousness alongside a toasty, saline midpalate. It brings so much to the glass that you need hours to let all of it reveal.

Started in 1889 by Jean-Baptiste Laherte, Aurelien, (the 7th generation), now looks after 11 hectares mostly in Chavot just south of Epernay. They work heavily with oak (over 80% of production) creating wonderfully aromatic, rich and unique wines that demand time in your glass!
