Laurent Bénard Vibrato 2012

Laurent Bénard Vibrato 2012

2g/ltr. Much tighter than the 2011, the fruit held in much more. Lovely notes of ripe blackberries. Salty, chewy and dry. There is some amazing weight gaining on the mid palate which will grow more in the coming years. Everything is perfectly in position.

House Profile

The Benard-Pitois family started cultiving land in Mareuil sur Ay in the latter end of the 19th century, but their wines really took off in the late 1990s when they forged the road forward for organic certification. They obtained full organic certification in 2012 on their 2.5 hectares in Mareuil sur Ay and Avenay val d'Or. We first visited Michelle in 2016 and fell in love with their wonderfully expressive wines. So exotic, energetic and engaging. They really sweep you up and grab you!
