Lovely plump nose – plum with a nice confected element. Really vinous first sip. Engaging, rich but refined and precise. The texture is what this is always about – elegant with this amazing pithy, saline element. The next day this rises way above what I was expecting. A hint of prune with a nice fleshy Pinot backbone. The palate has an amazing freshness and fleshiness, with loads of juicy depth and this bite of salty fruit and just a hint of orange peel.

Today the Maison is operated by 11th generation vigneron, Sebastien Guenin, who created his first cuvee in 2015 after a wine education that saw him gain experience across France.
