The 4th edition of a now legendary Champagne. Pure Pinot Noir from a single vineyard, Le Mont Benoit in Villers aux Noeuds. 2g/ltr. It's so smokey and toasty on the nose with tropical elements. The front end is bright, tense, vertical. Nice chewy palate with orange peel and a refined, nice bitter play. There's a lovely mousse and a wonderfully dry finish. Fresh, brilliantly textured, elegantly layered. Another triumph.

Gaspard Brochet exploded onto the Champagne scene with his first release in 2020 and continues to excite and surprise us with every wine since. Gaspard comes from a long line of Brochet families in the area and has taken over the family business that is 'Vincent Brochet' – a renowned producer in the area. Along with the existing lines, Gaspard has gone about producing his own wines that define him. His first release – a pure Pinot Noir from the vineyard of Le Mont Benoit, vinified in oak – was a a triumph of a first attempt and everything since has more than lived up to the hype.
