The intensity of fruit is a marvel and breadth and depth of the mid palate is off the charts. It is staggering this is only 2g/ltr! What a wine!

I first came across this Champagne Maison many years ago. They are based in Avirey-Lingey and work with 2.15 hectares of vines in the village and also buy in a further 3 hectares. Using sustainable techniques in the vineyards and 228 litre barrels in the winery, Davy Dosnon creates rich, aromatic wines with fabulous finesse. Their Recolte Noire is a fantastic introduction to Aube Pinot Noir but if you want something special grab a bottle of Alliae!
