A. Levasseur Pinot Noir Fut de Chene Millesime Magnum 2018
Lovely and fresh, slightly golden colour with small beads of bubbles. The nose is quite intense – surprisingly so – with exotic fruits and, as it opens, cooked pear, apricots and a slightly toasted character. On the palate it's quite dense and tight but with good acidity and a slightly creamy texture. The finish is airy and delicate with a lovely balance of sweet and saline.
House Profile
Working with both HVE and VD (Viticulture Durable) and Terra Vitis you really get the sense that David is at one with the soil. And when you first meet him, you instantly know that he is. Based in Cuchery, his wines have a beautiful harmony and amazing energy that you can't help but get engaged with.
